I'm a psychotherapist working with individuals, couples and families in the Los Angeles and Sandpoint, Idaho areas. I bring 25 years of experience to challenge the problems facing our complex and diverse society today. I beleive in the Unity of Life. From the single living cell to the complex human organism there is a basic energetic function that unites:Pain & Pleasure, Thinking & Feeling, Mind & Body, Man & Women, Family & Society. When the unitary living function is disrupted or blocked, healthy life suffers. If the disruption and blocking of natural life functions persist, the conflict and stress it causes often produces irrationality, chronic unhappiness, and/or disease. The healing or mending process occurs when the essential living funtions of Life are restored. Primary to the human healing process is establishing the natural free flow of feeling and thinking, and supporting healthy expression and behavior. I use Orgonomic, Bioenergetic, and Psychotherapeutic methods to regain healthy emotional, cognitive and behavioral functioning. I accept MFT interns who qualify for supervision for licensing and have a strong interest in MindBody therapy. For those people who cannot be seen at our center for any reason, we offer referrals through latherapy.info and lairc.com. For people who qualify for reduced rates we offer sliding scale fees.
