Members per specialty per metro, at most. That is the whole rule, and it is the same in every city.
Why the panel is capped.
Your visibility in a directory is a fraction: one, divided by the number of profiles a client scrolls past. Open directories grow the bottom of that fraction every day. We hold it fixed. A client reading the anxiety therapists in one metro reads a list they can finish, and your profile is on it.
When a panel is full, the next therapist joins a waitlist and is offered the place when one opens. We do not publish live counts per metro, and there is no way to buy a place on a full panel.

The first 200 members are the Founding Panel. They lock $49 a month for as long as they stay, get two spotlight weeks a quarter instead of one, and carry a Founding member line on their profile. The panel closes at 200 members or on December 31, 2026, whichever comes first.

What does a therapist receive from a test?
A short summary the client chose to send from their results page: which test they took, their score band, what they want help with, their state, and their insurance. Not their answers and not a full report. The client picks up to three verified members in their state, gives consent, and the summary lands in each member's inbox and dashboard. You reply directly; the conversation is yours from there.
Can I import my Psychology Today profile?
Yes. Enter the link to your Psychology Today profile when you build your listing and we pre-fill it: bio, specialties, approach, insurance, and location. If Psychology Today blocks the fetch, paste the page text instead. You review and edit everything before it publishes; nothing is saved until you say so.
What happens when my metro is full?
Each specialty in each metro holds 25 members at most. If yours is full, you join the waitlist for that specialty and metro and we write to you when a place opens. Places go to the waitlist in order, never to whoever offers to pay more.
Is the spotlight pay-to-rank?
No. Every member gets the same spotlight week, one per quarter, in a rotation nobody can buy into or move up in. Founding members get two weeks because they joined first, not because they paid more; the price is the same $49.
Why is there no free listing?
Because free listings are how directories turn into phone books. Every profile here belongs to a paying, registry-checked member, which keeps the list short and credible. That is exactly what makes being on it worth something.
What exactly do you verify?
Your identity, state and behavioral-health profession against the federal NPI Registry when you submit, then your license status with your state board where the board offers a public lookup. Both dates are shown on your profile, with links to the registry and the board. A license we cannot confirm keeps the registry match only.
Does paying get me better placement?
No. Everyone pays the same flat price, and no member can pay more to outrank another. Members are listed ahead of unclaimed legacy listings; within members, results follow the client's filters, never payment.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. When your membership ends, your profile comes off the directory. Rejoin later and your profile is restored.
Do you take a cut of the clients I get?
No. No fee per referral, per client, or per session, and no percentage of anything. The flat subscription is the entire deal.
