Wellbeing is not captured by a single happiness score. This collection offers separate reflections on life satisfaction, self-compassion, resilience, mindfulness, optimism, and persistence. The Happiness Test combines SHS and SWLS, while other tools draw on frameworks such as MAAS, Grit-S, and the Brief Resilience Scale. Sleep has its own section: the ISI-based questionnaire explores insomnia symptoms, and the chronotype reflection considers your preferred timing rather than how happy you feel.

Strengths and wellbeing

Sleep

You might want to notice a strength, understand what feels difficult, or choose one area for closer reflection. A result is a description of your answers, not a standard you have to meet to be doing well. These educational self-assessments cannot explain all the circumstances affecting your sleep or wellbeing. Use them alongside what you know about your everyday life, and leave room for needs that no score can capture.

Wellbeing and sleep tests FAQ

How are happiness and life satisfaction different here?

The Happiness Test combines two scales because feeling happy and evaluating your life are related but different questions. The SHS and SWLS sections offer separate perspectives. A score does not establish whether your circumstances are good or bad, and it should not tell you how grateful or content you ought to feel.

Does a low resilience score mean I am weak?

No. A resilience reflection describes answers within a limited questionnaire, and circumstances can shape what those answers mean. The tool here draws on the Brief Resilience Scale and includes additional protective-factor questions. It cannot measure your worth or decide how well you should cope with a difficult situation.

Should I choose insomnia or chronotype?

Choose the insomnia questionnaire if your concern is difficulty sleeping and its impact. Choose chronotype if you want to reflect on preferred sleep timing. They ask different questions, so an animal label or timing preference should not be used to explain away ongoing sleep difficulties or replace professional advice.

Can these questionnaires replace a mental health screen?

They have different purposes. These tools focus on wellbeing, strengths, attention, and sleep; the mental health and mood collection includes broader distress and symptom questionnaires. A positive wellbeing result does not rule out a difficulty, and a low score is not a diagnosis. Choose the question that matches your concern.
