My primary goal is to help clients achieve a feeling of success in therapy from our first contact. I strive to communicate clearly, empathically and genuinely in order for treatment to be successful and enduring. As well as being a licensed therapist, I also supervise therapists; therefore, I have unique experiences and expertise gained from working with thousands of clients. I am skilled at developing insights and observations that are focused on helping each client gain treatment relief as soon as possible. I strive to successfully establish rapport and implement effective therapeutic experiences with each client seeking therapy with me. I have provided leadership to therapy teams delivering clinical services for a wide range of problems. This partial list includes disorders stemming from childhood sexual abuse trauma, bipolar and other mood disorders, family discord, troubled teens, eating disorders, substance abuse and dependence, and other problems caused by excessive stress. I will deliver the first consultation session at no fee. I can also refer to other therapists within my clinic or beyond, if we (myself and client) determine that is best.
