My name is Maureen Gallagher, and I am a Licensed Psychologist practicing in Montclair, NJ and Midtown Manhattan. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and your life. Many of us want one thing but create another. often over and over again, causing heartache and despair. Ultimately, I want you to realize new options for yourself. Feelings of depression, anxiety and panic can be successfully resolved, allowing you to participate more fully in your life. Many come to work on problems in their relationships, or to decide whether to remain in or leave their current relationship. Some come to work through and resolve old wounds and the impact these have on their current life. Some come to resolve problems with children, parents or their own parenting. Others need to address problems in their work life. I have worked extensively with people on problems related to depression and anxiety and their impact on family life; dealing with serious illness in self or a family member, loss and grief, and issues concerning family life. parent-child difficulties and issues surrounding separation and divorce.
