Dr. Joanne L Doucette

I work with individuals struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression. About half of my practice is with couples in troubled relationships who are strongly motivated to improve their communication and understand the patterns that contribute to their unhappiness. I also have expertise treating the challenging emotional aspects of infertility.

Another subspecialty is working with individuals with transexual issues. My style as a therapist is to work actively to facilitate self-knowledge in order to minimize painful symptoms and increase awareness ad positive change.
