About Brittany

Are intrusive thoughts, constant worry, or the urge to check and recheck taking up more of your day than you want? Maybe you feel stuck in cycles of reassurance-seeking, avoidance, or relationship stress, and you’re tired of trying to cope alone. You deserve care from someone who truly understands how anxiety and OCD work.

I’m Brittany Webb, LPC, LCPC, CCATP, founder of Better Minds Counseling & Services who built a quality team of therapists, and for over a decade I’ve helped adults and teens break free from OCD, anxiety, and the patterns that keep them stuck. Using evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT, and ACT, we’ll work together to understand what’s driving your symptoms and build practical skills for lasting change. Sessions are 100% virtual, so you can get specialized care from home anywhere in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, or Virginia. Relief is possible, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

My approach

At Better Minds, therapy is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to you. Our team of specialists blends ERP, CBT, ACT, DBT, and IFS with warmth and real-world strategies, so you feel understood and equipped. We meet you where you are, honor your whole story, and focus on meaningful, lasting change, all through secure virtual sessions from home.

About me

I’m Brittany, an OCD and anxiety specialist (LPC, LCPC, CCATP) with over a decade of experience helping adults and teens quiet intrusive thoughts and break free from compulsions. I founded Better Minds to make specialized, evidence-based care easier to find. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll personally connect you with the right clinician on our team.

More background

If you’re reading this, you may be exhausted. Maybe your mind won’t stop asking “what if,” or you’ve spent hours checking, reviewing, or seeking reassurance, only for the relief to fade minutes later. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before and left feeling like no one really understood what was happening in your head. I want you to know that what you’re experiencing makes sense, and it is treatable.

I’m Brittany Webb, LPC, LCPC, CCATP, and I’ve spent more than a decade helping people who feel stuck in anxiety and OCD find their way back to a life that feels like theirs again. I’m a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and a member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). I specialize in all forms of OCD, including intrusive thoughts, contamination fears, relationship OCD, harm and “taboo” thoughts, and the quieter, harder-to-name versions that often go unrecognized.

What working with me looks like My primary approach is Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. I know the word “exposure” can sound scary, so here’s the truth: we go at a pace that feels challenging but manageable, and you’re always part of the decision. You’ll never be pushed into something you aren’t ready for. I also draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you relate to anxious thoughts differently, so they lose their grip instead of running your day. Sessions are practical and collaborative. You’ll leave with real tools you can use between sessions, and we’ll track progress together so you can see change happening. I also bring warmth and, when it fits, a bit of humor. Hard work doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time.

Who I work with I work with adults and teens navigating OCD, anxiety, panic, perfectionism, and relationship stress. Many of my clients are high-achieving people who look like they have it all together on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed on the inside. If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

Beyond the therapy room I’m the founder of Better Minds Counseling & Services, a virtual group practice serving clients across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia. I also work as a clinical supervisor and adjunct professor, training the next generation of counselors. That work keeps me grounded in current research, and it shapes how carefully I approach every client I see. Better Minds has been honored with Philadelphia Family Magazine’s LOVE Award in 2025 and 2026, and we’re proud to provide affirming care for clients of all identities.

If I’m not the right fit Sometimes my schedule is full, or you may be looking for a different specialty. Our team includes clinicians who focus on trauma, grief, DBT, IFS, somatic therapy, couples work, and more. I’ll personally help match you with someone on our team, so you don’t have to start your search over.

Taking the first step Reaching out is often the hardest part, and you’ve already started by reading this. Send me a message or book a free consultation from our website. We’ll talk about what’s going on, answer your questions, and figure out together whether we’re a good fit. You don’t have to keep carrying this alone.
