About Matthew

Because of my clinical interests, I earned a post-master's certificate in Trauma Studies from Chestnut Hill College and received clinical supervision in psychodynamic therapy. I also earned a certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques and have taken several courses in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Everyone struggles in life; however, we experience these struggles differently.

By focusing on your thoughts and feelings, I can offer person-centered treatment. This approach helps build a foundation of understanding and acceptance that can lead to lasting change and growth.

My approach

Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded. We’ll work together to understand the patterns keeping you stuck and how your past shows up in your present, then build something more lasting. I won’t hand you a worksheet and send you on your way.

About me

My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, meaning I think about the whole person, not just one issue. I draw on psychodynamic theory, cognitive therapy, and mindfulness skills based on what you need. I’ve spent over a decade with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. I see patients in Philadelphia and offer telehealth across Pennsylvania.
