About Sherrie

Are you struggling with the emotional impact of trauma, grief, narcissistic abuse, or painful family relationships? Perhaps you've spent years feeling unheard, invalidated, or questioning your own feelings. I specialize in helping adults, particularly daughters of emotionally unavailable or narcissistic mothers, process emotional wounds, navigate complicated grief, strengthen self-trust, and establish healthy boundaries while working toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach

My counseling approach is gentle, compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I create a space where you feel heard and understood, encourage self-awareness, explore patterns that interfere with emotional healing, and help you make meaningful, values-congruent changes.

About me

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Grief-Certified Counselor, I provide virtual counseling throughout Texas. My professional and lived experiences have shaped my passion for helping adults heal from trauma, grief, narcissistic abuse, and the lasting effects of the mother wound.

More background

I was drawn to counseling through a deep desire to understand how trauma, grief, and the mother wound shape a person’s thoughts, emotions, self-worth, and sense of identity. Over time, I became especially passionate about helping women heal from narcissistic abuse, emotional neglect, and the lasting impact of emotionally unavailable relationships. I chose this profession because I believe people need a supportive space where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward emotional healing, acceptance of painful realities, and meaningful change. I believe one of the biggest barriers to seeking therapy is the fear of facing distressing emotions, being judged, or having to confront difficult relationship truths.

Many people struggling with trauma, grief, narcissistic abuse, or emotional neglect already feel overwhelmed and uncertain. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially when someone has spent years feeling unheard or invalidated.
