About Ryan

I work with individual clients who wish to develop deeper relationships with others, freedom from self-defeating patterns, or increased peace and self-confidence. I also work with couples to quickly reduce conflict and to rebuild safety, trust and intimacy. Finally, I help clients navigate divorce with intention.

My approach

I am deeply committed to your success and wellbeing. I am excited to talk to you about your goals, and how to overcome what's getting in the way. I look forward to the opportunity to support you in your journey.

About me

I am a NARM master therapist. For individuals I specialize in the gentle and effective treatment of anxiety, depression and other conditions at their source. Sessions are often a peaceful experience and lasting change is possible. For couples, I leverage Gottman practices to reduce conflict and build intimacy.

More background

We now know how to treat early stresses in life using gentle, present focused techniques. This has allowed me to help people move forward in ways that they never thought possible. Key outcomes I see are enhanced self-esteem, greater peace and better relationships. Let's talk about what you would like for yourself.

What I see is that due to early misattunement with caregivers, we tend to become masters at pressuring ourselves to do more or to be perfect. Once we are able to own our self-compassion, and recognize our own self-efficacy, we can let this old, pressured way being of being go, and experience deep peace, self confidence and a sense of being in the present moment. Also, when this happens anxiety and depression naturally fall away. Simply put, we have become accustomed to pressuring ourselves to survive, but self-compassion, once internalized, allows us to see what we really are made of. This may sound a little vague, but the powerful and lasting results are anything but. I invite you to contact me and get started on the work of lasting change in your life.

Work history

I am deeply invested in my clients success. My clients tell me that I'm easy to connect with, and most importantly, that the modern therapies I provide produce results. Whether they are looking to simply reduce day-to-day stress, develop more self-esteem, or have the relationship of their dreams my clients know they will be feeling better and moving forward in their lives with more confidence and peace.
