About me
I don’t just work with individuals, couples, and families from a place of professional expertise. I understand their struggles because I've lived through them. I know what it’s like to live through family chaos, where tensions run high, communication breaks down, and relationships feel like they’re on the edge of unraveling.
More background
I don’t just work with couples and families from a place of professional expertise—I understand your struggles from personal experience. Because of my own 23-year journey through the seasons of miscommunication and disconnection in a long-term marriage and family life, I bring grounded empathy to our sessions. I know how exhausting it is to feel trapped in the same repetitive arguments, to feel misunderstood, or to wonder if things can ever change. I also know firsthand what it takes to lean into the hard conversations, rebuild trust, and cultivate a peaceful, connected home. When you work with me, you enter a zero-judgment zone. I don’t expect you, your significant other, or your family to be perfect. Together, we will focus on building something resilient, respectful, and real. If your relationship or family feels stuck in patterns that aren't working, know this: you are not broken, and it is never too late to try again.
My therapeutic style is warm, authentic, and quick because I believe therapy isn’t meant to last forever. My goal is to help you understand and address your challenges efficiently, empowering you to make meaningful changes without spending years in treatment. Together, we will get straight to the heart of the matter so you can move forward with confidence. My approach focuses on practical, real-world solutions that help you build the life and relationships you actually want. Over my 27 years as a licensed therapist, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals, couples, and adult families thrive. My work is grounded in a deep understanding of human behavior, emotional health, and the nuances of complex interpersonal relationships.
To better serve busy, driven clients, I have expanded my practice to offer dedicated Relationship Communication Coaching for high-performing professionals. This specialized coaching is designed for individuals who want to strengthen their personal relationships so they can thrive both at home and in their careers. For those ready to fast-track their progress, I offer intensive 3-hour Power Sessions designed for deeper, rapid breakthroughs. If you are ready to stop repeating the same old patterns and start building a relationship that feels alive again, reach out today to get started.
