About Kallie

I work with people who are tired of understanding their problems without being able to change them. Maybe you've spent years analyzing your experiences and trying to do things differently, only to find yourself right back where you started. Maybe your past continues to affect you in ways you can't quite explain, or your mind won't let go of thoughts and fears you know don't make sense.

You don't have to spend the rest of your life managing the fallout of what you've been through. My work focuses on processing experiences that continue to affect you and changing patterns that feel impossible to break. Using Brainspotting and other approaches tailored to your needs, we'll work toward changes that go deeper than simply learning to cope.

I also offer extended Brainspotting intensives for people who want to dedicate focused time to therapeutic work outside the structure of weekly sessions.

My approach

My approach goes beyond talking about problems to working with the experiences that keep them in place. I primarily use Brainspotting, incorporating IFS-informed perspectives and nervous system regulation when helpful. Therapy is collaborative, individualized, and focused on meaningful change, not just learning to cope.

About me

I'm Kallie Weaver, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I'm not here to help you get better at tolerating a life that isn't working for you. I use Brainspotting to work through what talking alone hasn't resolved. If you understand your patterns but can't seem to change them, let's try something different.

More background

I'm Kallie Weaver, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I work with people who are tired of feeling stuck in patterns they understand but can't seem to change.

Maybe you've spent years analyzing your childhood, understanding your triggers, or figuring out why you react the way you do. You can explain exactly where a pattern came from and still find yourself repeating it. Knowing why something happens doesn't always make it stop. And learning to manage something isn't the same as actually working through it.

That's a big part of why I'm drawn to Brainspotting. Sometimes talking through an experience only takes you so far. I want to help you work with what's still affecting you, even when you've already spent plenty of time trying to make sense of it.

My approach isn't about convincing you to accept a life that doesn't feel right or handing you another set of coping strategies and sending you on your way. It's about getting curious about what's keeping you stuck and finding a way to approach it that makes sense for you.

I also offer extended Brainspotting intensives for people who want to dedicate focused time to therapeutic work outside the structure of weekly sessions.

You don't have to arrive with everything figured out. You don't have to know exactly what you need or be able to explain every feeling. We can start where you are and work from there.
