About

Support for Women My philosophy is that every person comes to me with strengths. Sometimes in the midst of a life transition or crisis, you may lose sight of what your strengths truly are. Our job together is to identify your strengths and your goals, enabling you to utilize those strengths to achieve those goals. The most important element in counseling is that there is a trusting relationship between you and your therapist. It’s my priority that you are comfortable being yourself in my office. I have twenty-five years of clinical experience counseling adults, adolescents and children in individual, couple and family counseling. In 1983 I earned my Masters of Social Work Degree at the University of Connecticut. Between 1983 and 1993 I worked at various agencies seeing a variety of clients. Since 1993 I have been in private practice in Illinois. In addition, I have been an adjunct professor at several Chicago Universities including Loyola, Roosevelt and National Louis. I teach Masters level graduate students how to be ethical and skilled clinicians. I am also in the midst of working towards my Doctoral degree at the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago. I look forward to hearing from you.
