About Greggy
I help adults who feel overwhelmed, unfocused, burned out, anxious, depressed, or stuck after previous treatment has not worked well enough. I also work with veterans, military-connected adults, and professionals managing ADHD, trauma/PTSD, insomnia, and complex medication histories. You can expect unrushed, respectful care focused on understanding the full picture, not just a diagnosis.
Together, we develop a practical treatment plan that fits your goals, preferences, lifestyle, and responsibilities. Telehealth care is available for eligible adults in states where I am licensed.
My approach
My approach is collaborative, structured, and individualized. I combine evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management with functional and integrative considerations when appropriate. I take time to review symptoms, sleep, medical factors, prior treatments, and your goals so decisions are thoughtful, practical, and shared.
About me
I began my nursing career in 2007 and now provide telehealth psychiatric care through Lubin Institute for Mental Wellness (LubinInstitute.com). I am licensed in Virginia and 9 additional states: California, Florida, Delaware, Massachusetts, Washington, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, and Rhode Island. Care is available in English, French, and Haitian Creole.
More background
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path began with a deep desire to serve others. I started my healthcare career in nursing and spent many years caring for patients in community health, wound care, Veterans Affairs, military medicine, telehealth, and deployed settings. Over time, I saw how often emotional pain, trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress affected people’s overall health and quality of life. That experience inspired me to pursue advanced training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I wanted to help people not only survive difficult seasons but also feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal. My work with veterans, service members, families, and underserved communities has strengthened my commitment to compassionate, respectful, and evidence-based mental health care. For me, this profession is more than a career. It is a calling rooted in service, humility, leadership, and the belief that every person deserves dignity, hope, and quality care.
Work history
My work in mental health and healthcare has been shaped by more than 18 years of nursing experience across Veterans Affairs, military medicine, telehealth, wound care, community health, and deployed care environments. I have served Veterans through the VA, supported service members through the U.S. Army Reserve, and cared for individuals and families facing complex medical, emotional, and life challenges. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my background helps me understand the connection between emotional health, physical health, trauma, stress, family responsibilities, work pressure, and life transitions. My military experience has also shaped my ability to listen carefully, remain calm under pressure, and support people through difficult moments with respect, structure, and compassion. I bring a practical, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based approach to care. I especially value working with adults, veterans, service members, professionals, and underserved communities who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, trauma, and emotional burnout.
