About Warren

You’re on the couch at the end of the day, watching the high-functioning façade you’ve built finally begin to splinter. Inside, the noise is deafening—an endless loop of self-critique analyzing every word you said, every look you gave. For years, you’ve masked your true self to navigate a world that wasn't designed for your brain, and the toll has finally come due.

It’s a bone-deep exhaustion, paired with a quiet guilt for no longer being able to keep up the pace. You feel like a spectator in your own life, going through the motions while carrying a silent, heavy fear: that despite your best efforts, you might be repeating the very cycles of trauma you’ve spent a lifetime trying to escape.

My approach

Feel like you were handed the wrong social playbook? You aren't alone. I offer a collaborative space for neurodivergent and trauma-impacted adults. Using somatic awareness and EMDR, we’ll quiet the noise, settle old memories, and move you out of survival mode. Let’s work together to clear the clutter and reconnect with the life that truly matters to you.

About me

If you feel like you're playing by a different playbook, you don't have to navigate it alone. I offer a gentle, collaborative space for neurodivergent and trauma-impacted adults. Together, we’ll use somatic awareness and EMDR to soothe your nervous system, heal old wounds, and quiet the noise—helping you step out of survival and back into your life.

More background

What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

I bring my authentic, warm, and dedicated self to every session. My practice is built on a 'no-surprises' philosophy, where you are treated as an intellectual equal. I use psychological testing and trauma-informed protocols not as clinical hurdles, but as a compassionate compass to help us map your unique neurobiological blueprint. Together, we will gently untangle the patterns that are holding you back, finding practical, sustainable ways to help you step into the life you truly want to live.

What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?

The greatest barrier is simply getting through the door. The demand for high-quality, comprehensive psychological testing and specialized trauma support is incredibly high, leaving far too many people stuck on long, exhausting waitlists when they are ready for answers. It is difficult to watch individuals and families wait months for the clarity and support they need right now.

How has your particular field of specialization evolved in recent years and how has that impacted your work?

The rise of secure telehealth has been a vital evolution. It has allowed us to break down geographic barriers and meet people right where they are. For those who previously couldn't access specialized testing or trauma-informed therapy due to distance, mobility, or scheduling, virtual care has opened doors to support that once felt entirely out of reach.

About Warren Phillips, PhD

As a Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Timberline Psychological Services, my hope is to help you find clarity for a gentler, brighter path ahead. I specialize in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and personal psychotherapy designed to help you understand your unique brain and find your footing. I believe that testing and therapy should be a supportive, validating experience—not a clinical hurdle.

My goal is to provide a soft, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard, seen, and understood. I would be honored to partner with you on this journey toward healing and clarity. If this feels like the right fit for you, please reach out. Together, let’s Do What Matters.
