About Jason
**What can I help you with?**
If you and your partner keep having the same arguments, feel disconnected, or struggle to rebuild trust after betrayal, I can help. We’ll work to understand what keeps you stuck, communicate more openly, and practice ways to repair and reconnect. I offer couples intensives for partners who want focused time and direct, compassionate guidance to work on their relationship.
My approach
My approach is compassionate, direct, and practical. In one- or two-day couples intensives, we take time to understand what keeps you stuck and practice communication, accountability, and repair skills so you can build a stronger connection.
About me
I’m Jason Polk, LCSW, LAC, founder of Colorado Relationship Recovery. My own experience with divorce inspired me to help couples find a healthier way forward. With over 12 years of experience, I bring compassion, honesty, and practical guidance to help partners reconnect.
More background
My own experience with divorce and painful disconnection inspired me to become a couples therapist. I know how much our relationships matter and how discouraging it can feel when we can’t find a way through.
I especially enjoy working with couples in one- and two-day intensives. Having concentrated time together allows us to go deeper, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and practice new ways of communicating and repairing. Instead of spending part of each weekly session catching up and then getting into the work, we have sustained time to stay with what matters.
My style is compassionate, direct, and practical. I’ll help you slow down difficult interactions, understand what happens between you, and try something different—with guidance and time to practice.
