About Anthony

My ideal client is someone who feels stuck—emotionally, relationally, or in how they see themselves—and wants to understand why familiar patterns keep repeating. They may struggle with anxiety, mood, shame, intimacy, identity questions, or the effects of earlier relationships and experiences. Often thoughtful and self-reflective, they want more than symptom relief: they want clarity, emotional freedom, and more satisfying connections with others and themselves.

My approach

I offer depth-oriented psychotherapy grounded in contemporary psychodynamic theory. I help patients understand how past experiences shape present emotions and relationships, and work collaboratively to loosen painful patterns, strengthen self-esteem, and create more authentic ways of relating—to oneself and to others.

About me

Finding the right therapist matters. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can talk about what you're looking for and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.

Work history

My practice is grounded in contemporary psychodynamic theory, with a strong emphasis on the influence of early experiences on our emotional lives and relationships. My clinical experience spans forensic inpatient units, hospitals, and community clinics, where I've provided individual and group therapy to teens and adults facing mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and difficulties related to personality functioning. I have also provided couples and family therapy in outpatient settings. These varied clinical experiences have deepened my appreciation for the complexities of the human condition. My style is warm, deliberate, and collaborative, and I am committed to building a trusting therapeutic relationship in which patients can explore their internal world with safety and honesty.
