About Corin
If you're a queer teen, a neurodivergent young adult, or someone navigating several identities at once, I've spent my life in your communities, not as an observer but as a member. I specialize in LGBTQ+ teenagers and young adults in transition: coming out, gender exploration, leaving home, starting college, building new relationships. I also work with neurodivergent children and adolescents, including autism, ADHD, and co-occurring concerns.
Telehealth across Michigan. Sessions run by secure video with live captions and written chat; no phone call is needed to get started. Text (810) 394-8921 or request an appointment at forestfernscounseling.com/get-started.
My approach
I use cognitive behavioral approaches adapted for youth, I'm trained in diagnostic interviewing and neuropsychological assessment, and I build client feedback into treatment planning. I'm an intermediate ASL signer and committed to expanding access for communities that have been underserved.
About me
I've worked in improv and theater programs for neurodivergent young adults, helped transgender friends navigate social, medical and legal transitions, and done crisis work at Crisis Text Line. As a bi, chronically ill woman, I know what it is to hold multiple marginalized identities. I'm a TLLP supervised by Mel Whalen, PhD, LP, at Forest Ferns Counseling.
