About Niesa

I work with Black and queer high achievers carrying that voice. You hear the voice whispering you are not qualified, feel the pressure of being the only one in the room with the weight of holding it together for everyone else while your own doubt has nowhere to go. My approach
My style is collaborative and strengths-based, more cheerleader than blank screen. I draw on solution-focused brief therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and narrative work, focused on what is already working for you and how to build more of it.

As a Black, queer therapist and a New York native, I can identify with the pressure of keeping up in a fast paced environment that was not built with Black or queer success in mind. I work together with my clients to challenge self-doubt and the inner critic behind it and build a steadier sense of their own worth.
