About

Loss can take many forms such as illness, divorce,or injury. Join me in a recovery and discovery process that will help you look at life in a manner that heals the hurts and opens new possibilities. Children and loss are particularly difficult as children grieve differently from adults. My experience with children and adolescents tells me that they have more to say than one can imagine. Cancer is a family illness. It effects not only the person who is diagnosed but the caregiver and the children as well. Through talk, drawing and stories children and adolescents learn to share their feelings, learn their strengths, and talk openly about what can be a devastating subject. I have worked with over 500 children and their parents who have had a family member with cancer. I created a program that is internationally recognized that helps children discuss difficult topics such as illness and death.
