My approach

We'll talk, pay attention to what happens beneath the words, and work with what you've been carrying. I'm direct. I'll tell you what I notice, and I'll probably ask where you feel it in your body.

That might lead to somatic work, parts work, EMDR, or mindfulness. The tools are options, not a preset program. We decide together what fits, and we won't rush.

About me

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in theater, tech, leadership development, and executive coaching. Men often came to coaching saying they didn't need therapy, then brought me things coaching wasn't built to hold. I took the hint.

I'm queer, male-identified, and genderqueer. In the room, I'm engaged, direct, and not above a little humor.

More background

I know the world a lot of my clients work in: performance reviews, endless prioritization, being the reliable one, an identity tangled up with work. Much of what I see is what happens when being capable becomes the answer to almost everything, including the things it can't solve.

When the same argument keeps returning, the pattern between you deserves attention too. I work with couples on what happens between them, not on choosing a winner. My couples work is based on the Developmental Model.

I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, including preparation and integration, in collaboration with an independent medical prescriber.
