About Hayley
You can hold a lot—but that doesn’t mean you have to hold it all. I work with women who look capable on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or stretched too thin underneath. You may be the one everyone relies on, while privately struggling with perfectionism, people-pleasing, overthinking, guilt, or the feeling that you’re never doing enough.
Therapy can help you quiet the constant mental load, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and build a life that feels more like yours—not just one you’re managing to get through.
My approach
My approach is warm, honest, practical, and collaborative. We’ll get curious about the patterns keeping you stuck, where they came from, and what you actually need now. I blend ACT, CBT, attachment and parts work, mindfulness, and somatic tools. You can expect compassion, gentle challenges, humor when it fits, and tools you can use outside of therapy.
About me
I’m a therapist, mom, recovering fixer, gold-badge holder in mom guilt, and fellow perfectionist. I know what it’s like to lie awake worrying, replay conversations, throw yourself into what you can control, and feel guilty when you rest. I’ve done—and continue to do—my own work, and I believe you deserve a therapist who understands the messy middle, too.
More background
If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?
Groundhog Day.
Not because therapy is about reliving the same day forever (though… sometimes 👀), but because it nails something I deeply believe about change.
Phil doesn’t transform because someone lectures him, diagnoses him, or “fixes” him. He changes because he stays, pays attention, experiments, fails, adjusts, and slowly becomes more regulated, more connected, and more intentional. Growth happens through repetition with awareness—not insight alone.
That’s how I approach therapy. We’re not trying to eliminate discomfort or fast-track you to a perfect version of yourself. We’re working with the patterns that keep showing up, building capacity, and practicing new responses until they actually stick. Over time, the same situations don’t hook you the same way—and suddenly life feels more workable.
Also: it’s a reminder that humor, humility, and patience matter. Real change is rarely dramatic. It’s quietly earned.
Work history
My path into therapy has been shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I’ve worked with adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, and major life transitions—especially those who feel high-functioning on the outside but overwhelmed on the inside.
I bring a steady, grounded presence to my work and focus on helping clients make sense of their patterns, build emotional regulation, and develop practical tools for everyday life. I believe meaningful change happens through understanding, consistency, and compassion—and I walk alongside clients as they build confidence, clarity, and self-trust over time.
