What the practice plan includes.

One price per seat. Everything on this list is part of it, for every clinician on the plan. Nothing here is an add-on, and nothing here can be bought by paying more.

Ten solo memberships come to $490 a month, ten logins and ten invoices. Ten seats on the practice plan are $390, one login for the person who runs the practice, one invoice.

Deciding where a group should be listed beyond Psychology.com? The practice guides price every directory and paid placement, with dates, and cover the marketing that actually fills clinicians' calendars.

  1. 1

A verified listing for every clinician

Each profile is matched to the federal NPI Registry and the license is checked with the state board. Both dates are shown on the profile, and members are listed ahead of the older unclaimed listings.

  2. 2

One console for the whole practice

The practice admin sees every clinician, edits any profile, submits it for verification and reads every inquiry, without asking anyone for a password. Each clinician can have their own login for their own profile.

  3. 3

    Bulk setup from a spreadsheet

Download the template, one row per clinician, import it. Every row becomes a draft profile, ready to review and publish. Or type them in one at a time.

  4. 4

Inquiries routed where you want them

Client messages go to the clinician, to your intake team, or to both. The client is always in Reply-To, and every inquiry also shows in the console next to the clinician it was for.

  5. 5

    Seats that follow live profiles

A seat is a profile that is live. Take one offline and the seat is released. The invoice is one line, never fewer than 10 seats, downloadable any time.

  6. 6

    A capped panel, per clinician

No more than 25 members per specialty in any metro, and your clinicians each hold their own place on it. A practice is not a bulk listing; it is a row of individual verified profiles.

  7. 7

Profile pages built to be found

Indexed by Google and readable by AI assistants, each with a dofollow link to your practice website from a domain at the same address since 1995.

  8. 8

    Warm inquiries

Clients filter by specialty, state, insurance and fee, read how each clinician works, and contact them directly. People who finish a test here can send a consented summary to verified members in their state; it lands with the clinician and in your console.

  9. 9

    Your numbers, in one place

Views, contact clicks and inquiries for every clinician, side by side in the console, so you can see who has room and who is booked.

25

Members per specialty per metro, at most. Practice members count like everyone else. That is the whole rule, and it is the same in every city.

Why your clinicians are listed one by one.

A client reading the anxiety therapists in one metro reads a list they can finish. Your clinician is on it as a person with a verified license, a photo and a way of working, not as the third name under a practice logo. That is what gets the inquiry.

The practice plan changes who pays and who manages, not what a client sees. When a panel is full, the next clinician joins a waitlist for that specialty and metro, and there is no way to buy a place on a full panel, for a practice any more than for an individual.

Solo membership is $49 a month or $490 a year after 30 days free; ten of them at the monthly rate are $490. The practice plan is $39 a seat, never fewer than 10 seats, so $390 for ten. Both are flat: no per-lead fees and no cut of a client.

The practice plan.

$39per seat per month, from 10 seats

First 30 days free, $0 due today. Cancel any seat any time.

Start the plan with the practice name and your email. Stripe takes the card, nothing is charged for 30 days, and you land signed in to the practice console with the email to set your password on its way. Add your clinicians from there.

Secure checkout by Stripe. $0 today; from day 31, $39 per seat per month for the seats in use, never fewer than 10. Already have a Psychology.com account under this email? Sign in first, then start the plan here: that account becomes the practice admin and a solo membership ends with its paid period.

How the first month works

  1. Start the plan in about two minutes

Practice name, your email, roughly how many clinicians. Stripe takes the card and you are in the console.

  2. Add your clinicians

Type them in one by one, or download the spreadsheet template, fill it in and import it. Each clinician gets a draft profile and, if you want, an email to set their own login. You can fill in the profiles for them.

  3. Verification within a day

Each profile is matched to the federal NPI Registry when you submit it and goes live with a dated Verified badge, on the panels in its metro that still have room. Have every 10-digit NPI ready.

  4. Billing starts on day 31

The first 30 days are free and $0 is due today. Then $39 a seat for the profiles that are live, never fewer than 10, on one invoice. Take a profile offline and its seat is released.

Under Settings you point client inquiries at the clinician, your intake address, or both. Every inquiry also shows in the console next to the clinician it was for.

Straight answers.

When does billing start?

On day 31. The first 30 days of the plan are free and $0 is due at signup. From day 31 the invoice covers the profiles that are live, at $39 a seat, never fewer than 10 seats. The free month is once per practice: a plan that was cancelled and restarted bills from day one.

What is a seat?

A live profile. Add a clinician, fill in the profile, submit it: when it goes live it uses a seat and the invoice follows. Take a clinician out, or take a profile offline, and the seat is released. Nothing is bought separately and nothing on a profile can be bought by paying more.

Do all of our clinicians have to join at once?

No. Start with the clinicians who have openings and add people as demand justifies it. Each metro panel holds 25 verified members per specialty, practice members included, so a clinician goes live on the panels that still have room.

Can one person manage every profile?

Yes. The practice admin sees every clinician in one console, edits any profile, submits it for verification and watches the inquiries. Each clinician also gets their own login for their own profile, if you want them to have one.

Can client inquiries go to our intake team?

Yes. Under Settings you choose whether a client message goes to the clinician, to your intake address, or to both. The client is always in Reply-To, so whoever answers replies straight to them.

How does verification work for a group?

The same as for a solo therapist: each profile is matched against the federal NPI Registry (name, licensed profession, state) and goes live with a dated Verified badge. Have every clinician's 10-digit NPI in the spreadsheet.

Can we import a spreadsheet?

Yes. Download the template from the console, fill in one row per clinician, import it. Each row becomes a draft profile and, if you tick the box, an email inviting that clinician to set their own login. You review and publish; nothing goes live until you say so.

Do you take a cut of the clients we get?

No. No fee per referral, per client, or per session, and no percentage of anything. The seats are the entire deal.

Can we cancel?

Any seat, any time: take the profile offline and the seat is released on the next invoice. The whole plan can be cancelled under Manage billing; it runs to the end of the paid period and the profiles come off the directory. Rejoin later and they are restored.

Is there a practice page?

Not yet. Each clinician has their own profile page, and every page links to your practice website. A page that lists your clinicians and offices together is on the roadmap.

Your whole practice, on the list clients can finish.

A verified profile for every clinician on a capped panel, one console for the person who runs the practice, one invoice, and the first 30 days free. On a name people have brought this exact question to since 1995.

$39 per seat per month from 10 seats once billing starts. No per-lead fees. Cancel any seat any time. Solo therapist? The individual membership is $49 a month.

A note on independence. Therapists on Psychology.com are independent licensed professionals, not employees or agents of Psychology.com. Verification reflects checks completed at a point in time against the federal NPI Registry and does not guarantee any outcome. Questions about a group of any size: hello@psychology.com, and you get an answer in writing.
