About Robin

I work with couples suffering from dissatisfaction in their relationships due to chronic misunderstanding, fighting and general loss of connection with each other. Perhaps you feel "stuck" in your relationship and can't figure out why you aren't happier together. By talking about yourselves and your feelings together in a session you can get my feedback, and come to some surprising conclusions.

Ultimately this will bring much relief as the conflict between you gradually subsides. I am an "active" therapist so you won't feel left alone on your journey. I also work with individuals who want to learn more deeply about themselves.

My approach

I am an emotionally focused therapist in my work with couples. This means that I try to get at the deepest feelings each person has about his or her partner and about the relationship. Once these feelings are expressed by each person there is much greater understanding of yourself and your partner.

About me

I have worked with couples and individuals for 20 years and continually find the work rewarding at every turn. Eventually couples improve in their relationship once they understand why they were having conflicts. Many of the individuals I've worked with have made great strides in understanding themselves and accomplish life tasks they had long dreamed of.
