Worry Journal
Log your worries, how likely they felt, and what actually happened, so you build a personal record of how rarely the things you fear come true.
About this tool
A worry journal is a quiet myth-buster. Anxiety is convinced that bad outcomes are likely and that worrying somehow helps. A journal puts both beliefs to the test by collecting evidence over time. Each entry captures the worry, how likely you thought it was, and crucially, what actually happened once the dust settled.
Most people are startled by the results. The vast majority of feared outcomes either never happen or turn out far milder than predicted, and on the rare occasions something does go wrong, you usually coped better than you expected. Seeing this written in your own hand, again and again, is far more convincing than anyone reassuring you. It gently retrains the brain's threat estimates with real data.
The journal also makes your coping visible. By recording how you handled each worry, you build a record of your own resilience, which becomes useful evidence the next time anxiety insists you will not be able to cope. Review it weekly: the patterns it reveals (which predictions overshot, which worries repeat, what actually helps) are where the learning lives.

Worry Journal FAQ
What is a worry journal?
It is a log where you record each worry, how likely it felt, and what actually happened. Over time it shows you how rarely feared outcomes come true and how well you cope, which gently lowers anxiety.
How does writing down worries help?
It turns vague dread into concrete predictions you can check against reality. When you see, in your own records, that most feared outcomes never happen, your brain's threat estimates start to recalibrate.
How often should I review it?
About once a week. Look for patterns: how often your worries came true, how far off your likelihood ratings were, which worries keep repeating, and what coping strategies actually worked.
Is my data saved anywhere?
No. The journal runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. The PDF is created on your own device.
