About

I am a therapist to individuals and couples. I work to renew the fundamental friendship that brought a couple together, and, to create a successful partnership. Marriages worn thin by habit, or suffering from the stresses of work and children, or even those torn by an affair can be revived and made to flourish thanks to 30 years of research on the "Masters" and "Disasters" of relationship. I specialize in relationships in the belief that being deeply known by your partner is more healing than any therapy, and the foundation of a nurturing family. My ongoing training at The Gottman Institute in Seattle provides research-based interventions to manage problems like transition to parenting, job loss, life after children, and even surviving an affair. I don't only treat couples. I spent 20 years specializing in the treatment of truama and still treat individuals suffering from depression or anxiety disorders.
