Overview
I am a certified therapist in EMDR (a type of therapy that is helpful for enhancing healthy parts and dealing with trauma or negative beliefs). I also have a holistic perspective and work well with medical doctors (MD's), treatment programs, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other medical professionals in providing coordinated treatment. Emphasizing the positive strengths is essential to the healing process. I can do brief or in depth therapy depending on client needs.

I am certified in EMDR, use cognitive behavioral, supportive therapy, some testing, and like to have clients read or listen to tapes on appropriate material that can build skills, understanding and change behavior.

Unique qualities of my practice include but are not limited to: EMDR, my holistic perspective, a knowledge of natural methods of treating depression and anxiety, and occasional use of pet therapy if appropriate
