Overview
Dr. Gotlieb is a licensed psychologist trained at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Tulane University School of Medicine.  She has been licensed in Alabama since 1990. Dr. Gotlieb has a general practice serving adults and children with emotional and behavioral problems such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and PTSD.  She can also help with life changes, chronic illness and stresses to relate to 'normal life'. Areas of advanced training and expertise include developing intimacy, sexual dysfunctions, marriage and family relationships, separation and loss, and recovery from trauma and abuse.  She treats couples and families as well as individuals with a range of traditional and innovative approaches.  Her primary goal is to help people achieve a more balanced and fulfilling life.
